We want this site to work for everyone.

Kawartha RV Transport & Services is a small family run business based in Beaverton, Ontario. We want every customer to be able to reach us, understand what we do and book a job, whatever their abilities and whatever technology they use. This page sets out what we do about that, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.
If anything on this site or in our paperwork does not work for you, we will provide it another way. That might be large print, plain text, an email you can read with a screen reader, or one of us reading it to you over the phone. Tell us what suits you and we will arrange it in a timely way, at no extra cost beyond what any other customer pays. If the format you ask for is not practical for a business our size, we will talk it through with you and settle on one that works.
Ontario's Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation asks this of every business whatever its size, and we are glad to do it.
We build and maintain this site ourselves. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as far as is reasonably practicable for a business our size, and we check our work as we go. In practice we try to keep:
We cannot promise the site is free of accessibility problems, and we have not had it audited independently, so we will not claim that it is perfect. Under Ontario law only public sector bodies and businesses with 50 or more employees have to make their websites meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We are well below that threshold, so the rule does not apply to us. We work to it anyway.
Service animals and support persons are welcome wherever we deal with customers. If something we normally provide is temporarily unavailable, we will say so and explain what else we can do. Everyone here who deals with customers is trained on serving people with disabilities.
Feedback is worth more to us than a statement is. If a page, a form, a document or the way we served you caused a problem, please tell us. Use whichever of these is easiest, and you do not need to explain why:
Here is what happens next. We aim to reply within two business days to confirm we have your message. We look at what went wrong. Then we come back to you with what we have changed or, if we cannot fix it, what we can do instead and why. If you would like our reply in a particular format, ask and we will send it that way.
The rules described here come from the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. If you have a question we cannot answer, or you are not satisfied with how we have handled your concern, the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility can help:
